The wood John sells never disappoints it’s such great quality and it always arrives well packaged and on time. The guitar building course was exceptional and together we fabricated a

Reached out on Instagram of all places, to see if I could get a custom cut ancient redwood top. 3000 year old redwood I might add! John immediately got back to me and worked with all my needs and preferences and we found the perfect piece. Sent me pics through the entire process. It was cut and sent out in days.

Luthier Wood is by far my favorite place for exceptional wood choices. Their selection of exotic wood for guitar building is amazing. The customer service is spot on with excellent communication concerning your order’s progress. They don’t bait and switch like some others. You see and pick the actual piece of wood you’ll receive.
The joining option is fantastic and very reasonable in price. All the sets I have had joined are perfect. You can request carve top thickness sets by contacting John through the website email. I live in North Carolina and receive my orders in 3 days from notice of completion. That is 4 days faster than items shipped from the West Coast for approximately the same shipping cost.
