Rift sawn, see fourth photo to get a good appreciation of the grain direction. We cut our neck blanks from carefully selected slabs, aiming for a balance of Quarter and Flat sawn stock. Some Rift Sawn stock is left which can still be used to make a great guitar neck, but unless you are confident with your understanding of Rift Sawn necks, we would always recommend that rift sawn neck blanks be used for multi-piece necks.
Dry and ready to carve into a stunning guitar neck! The slabs for these blanks have been hand selected for their quality.
Please see all pictures. Please note that Flame Maple figuring is very difficult to photograph so some blanks that look fairly plain may have more figuring than can be seen in the pictures.
