From a storm felled Ash tree on the Chatsworth Estate only 10 miles away, it’s exceptional to see such nice ripple in English Ash. These are rare slabs that we are lucky to have. We’ve done our best to capture what we can with the photos but they definitely look better in the flesh, please do let us know if you want any specific details, or better yet give us a ring and then come and see us. We can pull out any boards you are interested in.
These are natural boards, that we have lightly skimmed on both sides. They may contain splits, shakes, knots, spalting and other naturally occurring features. Please see photographs for details and let us know if you like additional photos.
These English Ripple Ash Slabs can be used for guitar tops and bodies, but also cut for fine furniture and cabinet making or in a single piece project such as sideboard tops, table tops, desk tops, kitchen islands etc.
