Mahogany Guitar Body Blank 2 Piece 90
The slabs that yielded these Mahogany Body Blanks were very carefully selected for quality and by weight. Like many species of wood, Mahogany can vary in weight quite drastically from slab to slab. These body banks are a perfect weight for all types of guitars, even thicker bodied models such as Les Pauls.
The species is Khaya Ivorensis. This is an African Mahogany well known and widely used for the creation of fine stringed instrument and high-end furniture. This species is pretty much indistinguishable from Honduran Mahogany aesthetically, yet is more appealing to me personally because its a bit lighter in weight. These Mahogany Blanks are absolutely perfect, and beautiful ribbon style figure.

These blanks can also be machined down to a slimmer thickness if required, just add the ‘Thicknessing Service’ item to your basket and leave a note in the comments box telling us what finished thickness you wish the item to be cut to.
